A firm of chartered accountants, built around technical judgement
We advise companies and families, in India and abroad, on the judgements behind their financial statements, their structures, and their finance functions.
The firm exists to make the judgements behind financial information deliberate, and to leave the reasoning on the file.
Financial statements, tax positions, and group structures look like facts. Each one is the sum of many judgements: how a contract is read, how an estimate is built, why one entity was chosen over another. Made in a hurry, they come back years later as audit adjustments, tax disputes, and structures nobody can unwind.
Aditya Soni founded the firm in 2024, after years in statutory audit and in the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young. Companies at a turning point, facing an audit, a transaction, a new investor, or a new reporting regime, need the technical depth the largest firms have. They also need the person who signs the work to have done it. The firm was set up to do both.
Our clients include listed and privately held companies, promoter groups, and individuals, across India, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.
What we hold ourselves to
Four words, and what each one means in the work.
Precision
Every figure, disclosure, and conclusion can be traced to its source and to the paragraph of the standard or law that governs it.
Perspective
A technical answer has to fit the economics of the business and the people who will live with it.
Progress
An engagement should leave the client’s team able to run and defend the work without us.
Independence
We say what the evidence supports, including when it is unwelcome, and we turn down work that would compromise our objectivity.
How we work
Partner-led, from start to finish
The partner who scopes an engagement reviews the work and answers for the conclusions. Senior attention is the service itself, not an escalation route.
Scoped in writing
Every engagement starts with a letter that sets out scope, deliverables, timing, and fees. Any change in scope is agreed before the work goes further.
Written to be challenged
A technical position is recorded with the paragraph it rests on and the alternatives we rejected, so it survives an auditor’s or a regulator’s reading.
Coordinated across borders
Where another country requires local sign-off, we brief and coordinate independent advisers there and remain accountable for the whole answer.
Designed for handover
What we build comes with the documentation and training the client’s team needs to run it.
Confidential by default
Client information is protected by professional duties of confidentiality from the first conversation, and every case study is anonymised.
Five engagements, and what changed
What the client was facing when they called us, what we did, and what changed afterwards. Each engagement is anonymised.

An audit that ended in the same debate every year
A listed IT services company kept facing auditor challenge on its credit loss provision. We rebuilt the IFRS 9 model on flow rates, recovery experience, and discounting, and wrote down every judgement behind it.

Energy & Infrastructure · India
A new reporting framework, with the audit deadline unchanged
Six renewable energy SPVs came within the scope of Ind AS at once. We ran one conversion programme, decided the transition elections at group level, and documented each adjustment with its tax effect.
4Months from kick-off to standalone and consolidated statements

Diversified group · India
A sale that changed control halfway through the year
Selling a controlling stake turned a routine consolidation into remeasurements across subsidiaries and associates. We accounted for the loss of control from the transaction date and reconciled equity, non-controlling interests, and cash flows.
13Entities consolidated, including subsidiaries and associates

Consumer & Retail · India
A finance function that saw its numbers only after month end
A highway fuel retail network had come to accept daily cash differences. We designed shift-level routines and preventive controls that site staff could run without IT, then refined them over three iterations.
~99%Reduction in recurring cash shortages by the third iteration

Family Enterprises · India
A new group, structured before its first transaction
Land, farming, recreation, and heritage tourism are taxed differently. We designed the entities around those differences, kept the promoters in control, and set up finance and compliance before operations began.
0Restructuring needed as operations grew
